Vipassana Meditation

Vipassana

Vipassana means "to see things as they are." It is the essence of Buddha's teaching
This path to self-awareness is extraordinary in its simplicity, its lack of dogma and above, and its results. The Vipassana technique can be successfully applied by anyone. Vipassana is the "art of living".
The Buddha did not teach any religion or philosophy or system of belief. He called his teachings Dhamma, the law of nature. Neither was he interesting in establishing a sect or a personally cult with himself as its center. Devotion toward another person, no matter how saintly, is not sufficient to liberate anyone; there can be no liberation or salvation without direct experience of reality. Dogmas or speculations did not interest him. Instead, he offered a universal, practical solution to a universal problem. "I teach and taught always only about the suffering and the resolution of suffering".
In his study the Buddha used only his mind. The truth he discovered was not the result of the intellect, but the result of his experience. And for this reason could free him.

The Buddha found out that the entire universe is composed of particles, referred to in the Pali language as Kalāpas or "indivisible units". These units exhibit in endless variations, the basic properties of matter on: mass, cohesion, temperature and motion. They combine to form structures which seem to have some permanence. But actually they are all composed of tiny reality of matter, a steady stream of waves or particles. This is the body which we call “myself”

Vipassana - Seminar from 15.12. to 22.12.2011 in Khon Kaen,   Thailand

During the seminar, no talks, no eye contact and no gestures of understanding were allowed.

There were 45 participants, including 5 monks from Chiang Mai. We men slept in 12 double tents, the women in two bedrooms in a building where the showers and toilets were. The showers and toilets for men were in huts, made of bamboo, as well as the beds in the tents.

Food was good and pure vegetarian. On mindful eating much attention was paid.
Also mindful walking was repeatedly trained.

Days beginning 4:00 with about 1 hr. Morning exercise end 21:00. Without a break, under constant observation. Those who do not could feel were sent home. Unlike the seminar in Triebel, it was marked here quite Buddhist.

Vipassana Seminar from 29.05. to 06.09.2013 in Triebel, Saxon Voigtland  Flo Lehmann teacher

Segregation, about 50 men and 50 women. Everything was separated entrance, registration, supply, outdoors, only together in the meditation room, but separate entrances.
I had a single 2.5 x 4 meters with shower and toilet.

You let yourself 10 days locked up, you have no variety, only information about meditation and training, ultimately you're glad to be able to ever do it, so you start to meditate until you manage it every day to do 10 hours.
1st and 2nd day meditating, just focus on breathing, then on his nose inside and out, from the 3rd day to focus on nostrils and lower lip,
Pain is like light from stars past, they have already passed. Everything is constantly changing. Anica
I get a lot of unpleasant memories high that I had suppressed are back, but they do not scare me.
If a sensation comes, wait 1 minute, and then continue. Everything is constantly changing. Law of Impermanence, law of change. Not as it was. Anica

From the 5th day sitting with great determination 3x daily an hour nothing is allowed to move.
Eighth to walk on sensations from head, scan, without judging it. Cranium, face, right shoulder with your hand, then left. Back, right, then left hip to toe. No place on the body leave. Later, if everything runs smoothly, as if pouring a bucket about, you go inward, from right to left, while not imagine that each institution, penetrate, like a drop of ink in water glass.

What the unconscious mind (soul) pushes into the body, Sankara to be resolved, consider this sensation neutral equanimity how God would do it. God cannot judge. The shadow, Sankara dissolves.

The ultimate goal is not to respond, only to look at cost without. What we often call spontaneous action, is in reality blindly reacting whatever has harmful effects. Instead of reacting, we learn to act, to act with a balanced mind.

Today I was dizzy; God is in me, the viewer of the hoax. My late sister Ruth seen during meditation, nice feeling, perhaps it is one of my guardian spirits.
I and 2 other participants to the teacher, brief instruction, then she prayed.

The unconscious mind is constantly in contact with the body. Itching scratching etc.
Universal treatment for a universal suffering. Do not follow Buddha, special be natural law Damma. No mantra no special breathing exercises.

Pain or suffering is not seen as such. Completely normal and perfectly healthy.
The unconscious mind and the body are closely connected. Sensations in the body neutral look, otherwise there will be attachment and desire, create new Sankara.

Morning and evening in bed meditation of love.
