Thoughts of
selfless love are thoughts of peace, of hope, of confidence and faith. We will
receive much more light through these positive thoughts, and then we are able
to recognize everything that is active in our conscious and subconscious mind.
When we
immediately forgive someone who has made false accusations against us that is
an act of love.
When we pray
with all of our heart and entrust ourselves into the hands of God and remain in
this trusting attitude, this is an act of love.
When we
selflessly help our neighbour and do not expect anything, neither a friendly
smile nor his gratitude, this is an act of love.
When we do not
judge our neighbour who, knowingly or unknowingly, does things or speaks in a
degrading or offensive way, this is an act of love.
Impersonal Love
is something delightful, beautiful and noble. It has nothing to do with the
self-entered love which is despised by the one who strives towards God.
He who is only
filled with personal thinking and wanting has no room within himself for the
impersonal Love.
Personal love
has no sense of responsibility. It cannot foster confidence or true trust. It
also cannot give to the very last, because the ego is always there, at all
times; its only thought is: for me, for me, for me. The personal love is the
self-love, which has brought and still brings suffering, pain and misery into
man's life. A noble heart gives itself unselfishly, it doesn't ask for reward
and recognition.
True love is
always impersonal.
Love is peace,
Love is harmony.
Love is
forgetting one's self.
Love is strength
and power.
The impersonal
Love is the divine Love, it enlightens our heart, it expands our feeling and
thinking, it fills our soul with the feeling of unity with all, that is. Then
we can no longer hurt a follow creature, because we know that the essence of
all being is within ourselves.
